We were in the Friends of Duxford enclosure this Saturday (la di da) sipping tea and eating smoked salmon sandwiches when my wife said "that plane's on fire". To which I replied, I don't think that half cuban was THAT good! ;) Sadly she meant that a Dragon Rapide only 50 metres away was on fire. Engine and part of the a wing covered in flames. Amazing speed by on of the attendants to douse the flames with fire extinguisher and again when it relit. The Firetrucks arrived and it looked like they were gouing to doose her with foam, but they got it under control. I did wonder whther the mrs had arranged the whole thing for the fireman show :?:

Haven't checked the photos yet but I was slow of the mark anyway.

At least it saved me £389 as I was mulling over whether to have Harvard flight.
