Saitek's mighty Evo is available cordless now.

Anyone kniw anyone with one? I understand it's still got a main power lead needed down th eback of the PC for the transmiter, but the stick itself is a single AA cell with idle etc.

Am tempted...can't find much in the way of bad new about it.

Scan do it for £37 inc vat.

Being cautious right up to the last moment though. Still dont trust wireless keyboards for gaming as the multi button push thing still seems to cause grief :(

Anyone know anyone with one?

You can test one at the LAN. My boy has the Logitech Cordless Joystick. It is battery powered and feels quite nice, although I understand quite a number of people do not rate Logi.

AND - his keyboard and mouse are wireless. Very nice (expensive) keyboard which is superb to use.

oooh...well if it works OK for Logi, then Saitek wil be better, so reckon quite safe.

And I just disocvered it DOESNT have a power supply! Its a USB dongle at the back.

Luckily my Mobo usb ports are plenty powerfull.
