new mobo, Zaks old 800 gfx, new SATA drive, CPU, whopping great cooler to go on it....
Dug out the XP disc and the old tools..

The only thing thats still missing is the SATA power lead converter cable.....

Can't do a thing without that..
Considering chopping a molex plug off and doctoring one up...

No, If your just using a single drive you still need the floppy but dont ahve to put the raid bits on, altho I always put all the available drives on when I install.

well....if you're using SP2 on the XP disk, dont use ANY driver floppy. THe XP SATA drivers are superb.

My mobile will be on most of tomorrow, so if you need help...ring.

Have a couple of unknown devices asw ell that won't install poroperly either...

Bob, unknown drivers, have a look in deviec manager and then get the machine to search for them with the board cd in the drive.

ps found a double sata power cable btw..

WDM driver.

It's the graphics card chap, it's got VIVO and needs the WDM driver.
