That's it... another Saitek Cyborg bites the dust,,,,

I'll be back in the air in a couple of weeks.. might take this opportunity to finish some unfished projects

need the left hand for the mouse... so x45 and x52 etc no good for me

Think I'll do one more Cyborg 3D, then move to a CH flight stick or something

Saitek have stopped making the Cyborg Gold/Platinum!!

Cant find it anywhere, not even in PC World. Just been scouring for one for Leavey (who's PC I'm upgrading today)

Evo is available cheaper now though

About £25 most places

dug out an old MS sidewinder precision 2 or something for now.. so am back in the air. Love the tempest /.. drilled a few 60lb rockets into some Panzers on warclouds just now..... (after making a few weird 360s on the runway)

.. am gutted about the Cyborg 3D.. refuse to use the evo cos of the totally stupid throttle position( which I use for prop pitch as it happens.. cos I have the throttle on the mouse wheel)

re Tack IR... yep... one day. But thats gonna be after a new joystick/computer/monitor/house/built in cockpit under stairs/ etc
